For Cape Cove our connection to the outdoors and to sea is what inspired our Dawn Fishermans Sweater. Thought to have been first knitted in the 1800, in coastal communities from Cornwall to Scotland, the Fishermans Sweater was originally knitted by wives and girlfriends to protect their Fisherman out on the wild seas.
Whilst our adventures might not be as extreme, who wouldn't want to treasure such a nostalgic piece. Our Dawn Fishermans Sweater has been crafted with pride in our artisan factory in Italy, with a unique simple cable design on the sleeve and shoulder. Made using the finest quality 100% merino wool yarn, certified as responsibility sourced. Our merino yarn is incredible, super soft and not itchy in the slightest, breathable, naturally warm in the cold and cool in the heat. It is naturally renewable and biodegradable.
