FAQ

Where are Cape Cove clothes manufactured?

We have long-lasting relationships with quality suppliers who we trust and who share our vision. Our suppliers span the globe but we produce mainly in Europe. Each production house is renowned for its unique craftsmanship. Together, we create beautiful, quality garments as ethically as possible and with care for the environment.

What is slow fashion?

Slow Fashion is a response to fast fashion. It’s an approach to producing clothing which carefully considers all aspects of the supply chain and in doing so, aims to respect people, the environment and animals. It also means spending more time on the design process, ensuring that each piece is made with quality and to last.

What is ‘changing style’?

It’s more than fashion meets function, there’s an ease to our garments. Throw them on, step into them, change and layer easily. Cape Cove wardrobes encourage you to try wild swimming, yoga, dog walking, being active and feeling good. They’re made from the best quality fabrics that feel comfortable and easy to wear. We trade restrictive for supportive, warm, soft-to-touch and comfortable in changeable weather.

What is a change robe?

Get changed by the water, outside your campervan or on the beach. Cape Cope change robes protect you from the elements, offer privacy and keep you warm and dry despite the weather. A soft and snug inner is complemented by a weather-resistant outer. Get dry and warm quickly and with the minimum of fuss. Throw it on and feel free to move, it’s also versatile enough to wear as a coat or a jacket. A stylish essential for any outdoorsy adventure.

What makes Cape Cove changing Capes and Coats different?

Is Cape Cove fashion for wild swimming?

Yes, all our styles work particularly well over swimwear but the Cape Cove style is for anyone that enjoys the outdoors. Whatever activities you love, Cape Cove clothes are designed to be thrown on, stepped into, layered and changed. Make them essential parts of your yoga, swimming, camping, campervanning or dog walking wardrobe.

When and why was Cape Cove founded?

It’s been years of dreams in the making. It was founded by The Coves to say yes to each other, to their community and to the planet we all share. The idea was to take what they’d learnt from their experience in the fashion industry and do it better. Valued relationships, a slower form of fashion and style that inspires us to be active, enjoy nature and feel good.

Family Holiday Charity
At Cape Cove we support the great work of Family Holiday Charity, helping families get time away together, often for the first time ever.

The charity is for children of families who have never seen the sea. It’s for teenagers who can’t remember when they last saw their mum smile, and for parents having to choose between a day out and a new pair of school shoes. It’s for young carers, kinship carers and families facing illness isolation and bereavement.

Holidays open up new possibilities. Time to reconnect, try new things and make happy memories together. Running, playing, climbing trees and flying kites. Time for picnics and bare feet. Sharing a laugh and watching the tide come in. Buckets, spades and sandy sandwiches.

Family Holiday Charity finds out what each family needs and takes care of all the details. That way families can take care of the most important thing - each other.

Families choose the holiday they need. It could be a caravan on the coast, a woodland adventure or a day out at a theme park, museum or farm. And whatever the weather, it means time spent together. Even just a day’s holiday helps build relationships, confidence and hope for the future.
